this year, Made In The A.M. has become my favorite 1D album (this is changing every year or so, it’s just a sign of the times) and i’m genuinely so fucking sad that album never got and now will never get a tour, because they would’ve sounded incredible with every single song of that album. and now there’s just no more chance to see Liam sing those songs with them.

(my hope for another tour is slim in general, i’d 100% understand if they never perform as 1D again.)

and yeah, there’s a few live performances of the singles and there’s at least the London Session where they did End Of The Day (which is very queer-coded to me 🥹🏳️‍🌈 “You love who you love, there ain’t no other way”), which was amazing, and also one of my all time 1D favorites, Infinity, but—

every single time i listen to the album I imagine them weaving the album into a concert setlist and maybe maybe getting to hear them play Walking In The Wind, I Want To Write You A Song, A Long Way Down (which is probably not a song they’ll ever want to play now), If I Could Fly, A.M. and another huge favorite of mine, What A Feeling.

every single time i listen to the album, i want to go to YouTube and watch live performance after live performance of all of those songs, but there’s next to nothing. and there never will be. those songs, live, would not be what they are without Liam there.

Liam’s voice is as integral as he was as a person and brother to them. i find solace in their music, as it always did, but i’m also feeling forlorn and heartbroken.

they’ve worked so hard on those songs, poured their hearts into them. the album deserved a tour sometime in the next years. they deserved to hear and see having those songs sung back to them, infused with all of our love.

Harry and Louis deserved to experience If I Could Fly, Perfect, and History with both of them on stage, looking into a sea of our rainbow flags.

i know, with our shared grief and all that has happened, thinking about this specific thing is insignificant in the grand scheme, but these are my feelings and i’m pouring them out, because my cup’s overflowing as it is.

Okay, so I'm currently trying to write up part nine of Made In The A.M. and I am getting major writer's block. Basically, part nine takes us back to the breakup, and I have a draft zero of the fight, but it's like not working. Not at all.

So I'm scrapping it.

But I put effort into the outline, and I don't want it to disappear to the depths of deleted words. Hence, I will be placing the outline below the cut for your viewing pleasure.

Charles slams the door of his shared apartment with Max.

He throws his keys on the dining table with enough force that they slide right off the other side and onto the floor.

He groans. Loudly.

“Hey, hey, hey.” Max is materialising in front of him, from the crevices of their space. “What’s wrong schat?”

Charles is getting imposter syndrome

Max is like “You’re great.”

Charles is like “It’s all you. All your words. I just make the music.”

Max is like “We are co-writing all of these songs. I can barely hold a tune Charles, the arrangement is all you. That’s the good part.”

“The words are the good part.”

They are screaming at each other. Well Charles is screaming, Max is unable to keep his voice down and level

“I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO TO FIX THIS!”

“THEN MAYBE WE SHOULD BREAK UP.”

“What? We can’t even try to fix this?”

“You don’t know what to do.”

“So let’s work together on a solution, Charles. Please don’t just jump to us breaking up.”

Charles is crying.

“I do not understand what the problem is, Charles. Please. We can try.”

Yada yada

“HOW CAN YOU LOVE ME SO MUCH?”

“Because you are great. You are amazing. You are my favourite person in the world.”

“That’s not true. That can’t be true.”

“It is. And I will tell you every day if I have to.”

“Well don’t.”

“What?”

“I can’t do this anymore.” Charles starts packing his things.

“What? Charles? What are you doing?”

“I am going to Pierre’s.”

“What is the problem? Am I stifling you with my love? If that is the problem, I can tone it down. Charles, you have to talk to me.”

“I love the way you love me, but it’s too much. No one could possibly love me as much as you do.”

“What?”

“I’m not that loveable Max!”

“You are!”

Max’s brain breaks, and he just uselessly stands there while Charles packs up his stuff in their shared-apartment.

I don't know, there's just something fundamentally wrong with it, and I can't come up with a way to fix it. It's been three days avoiding this project. I have to move forward.

Who's ready for my Master Gaslight Gatekeep Girlboss Crepus Theory!!

I originally posted this over at Hoyolab and people there seemed to really like my favorite joke theory that Crepus just tries to gaslight the whole of Mondstadt right after obtaining Kaeya

Majority of this will be the same but with little tweaks for the wonderful tumblr audience

This joke stems from Kaeya's introduction:

and the use of the word "rumored"

Cause it's not like it said beyond Teyvat or the seven nations just Mondstadt

And I mean like c'mon how many families are living off the grid in Mondstadt

(Actually... Don't answer that I forgot Glory's boyfriend is just

Out there in the bush with Razor...)

Initially I had the idea of Crepus walking around the markets one day carrying Kaeya with Diluc beside him running into Varka who asks:

"Who's the boy?"

"You mean my son?"

"Not Diluc the boy you're carrying"

"I have two sons? You know this??"

But then the Caribert quest came out mentioning Kaeya ran away from home near immediately and was dragged home by Crepus just as fast and it became even funnier

Cause imagine you're by the docks one day and richest man in town gets off the boat with no cargo but instead a tiny child you may not have seen before that Crepus seems to be very cross with at the moment and threatening to turn him into a leash kid if he runs off again

In a small town that loves gossip do you know how fast that information is spreading? Cause I do and Varka's knocking on Crepus's door 30 minutes later like:

"Is this what we're doing? We're just taking kids now?"

Both paths lead to Varka asking where Kaeya comes from and getting hit with a

"I think you're a bit too old to still be confused about the birds and the bees Varka"

Varka getting frustrated to the point he just starts demanding Kaeya tell him what's up

Love to see him following in his fathers footsteps of stressing Varka the fuck out

And upon hearing how his birth father left for juice and didn't return Varka went

"Good! That was ALL I needed to know!!"

Follow ups on if his father intended to abandon him or got lost in the storm and needed a search party?

Don't care!! You weren't kidnapped!!

Which bringing it back to it only being a rumor

In a town of alcoholics, who's gonna call out the one guy with the winery?

Here's some add ons that got sparked from the comment section 😘

Bonus panels would have included Varka showing up with Rosaria one day mimicking Crepus about "wHaT you ForGot I haD a Kid" sparking a trend within the community of just adopting random children to the point posters are made saying "In Barbatos name: See a child Take a child"

Alice seeing it and pulling a "when in rome" tucking both Albedo and Diluc(who is yelling he is an adult) under her arms and telling Klee if she ever sees someone in need of a mom let her know she'll send over the paperwork right away

And then the last bonus: Venti wakes up, walks in through the gate while playing a tune, and stops when he sees the poster, not sure if he needs to start yet another revolution, or if this one is fine actually

I imagine the posters had to be taken down because visitors were losing their kids left and right and the solution of parents pinning a note saying "not dead & still want custody" to their kids shirt didn't catch on but the saying still lives strong in the hearts of Mondstadt's citizens I mean look Bennett and his 27 dads Mondstadt may have a lot of orphans but the demand is even higher

"I have a headcanon where Kaeya fooled first Crepus, then the rest of Mondstadt but.this is too funny!! I want to see this happening!"

Which prompted one of my new favorite lines at the end:

"Wait by fool Crepus first do you mean like Crepus finding him out in the storm bringing him inside to ask him where he lives and Kaeya's just

"? I live here? You adopted me? Are you feeling okay?"

Cause I'm absolutely cry laughing over this that's so good but that also means when Kaeya runs away Crepus is just

"hey no no l'm not misplacing you a second time come home" "

My brain just hit an old hyperfixation (is this what it's called? I hope I used the word right) and oh dear am I losing my mind now. I need to write a story I think. About this one old guy. He's unhinged. There's so much information about him and yet not enough. I want to explore his character so much. He's definitely a criminal - at least he was one - and I'm 95% sure he can do actual real magic, and he's a musician and an artist and an actor and a magician and a philosopher and a traveler and a conman and so much more and also I think he's some kind of immortal. Maybe he just has a VERY long life. It's strongly implied he was a pirate at some point of his life. He started a cult by accident several times. My conspiracy theories about him include him being a secret god.

He's also a freaking round blue raven. Someone save me from my mind.
